November, a good month for the MILMA project's dissemination
We are so proud of our project and, it is an honour for us to be able to explain how we worked and recount the experiences learnt. In this sense, in November, we participated in some meetings.
- On 17th we went to the conference “RIVAS PLUS EMPLOYMENT: GOOD PRACTICES IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL INCLUSION”. To share the process of the project with the participation of the business companies and the steps made for the inclusion of immigrant people.
- On 18th we were invited to the “1st international salon for the employment FORMANDO FUTURO” website. And we had a space in the speak corner “new professions, new training challenges” in which we talked about the difficulties of our technological training and the opportunity with the classical trades updated with digital skills.
- On 23rd we had the visit of a Greek delegation of the Inclucities project in which Fuenlabrada (with the MILMA project) is the mentor city of Levadia in the theme of “Mobilising citizens to develop tools for decent employment and entrepreneurship challenges for migrants and refugees”. We shared the project’s goals and visited the CIFE facilities.
- On 25th a journalist’s delegation from Morocco came to Fuenlabrada to get to know the work on gender mainstreaming and the work being done in the inclusion of immigrants. And the MILMA project had a space to speak about integration and immigrant participation in the project.
We hope to be able to take the opportunity to share the project at more events over the next few months.
