The UIA Initiative has launched its fifth Call for Proposals. The call is aimed at providing urban areas throughout Europe with resources to test new and unproven solutions to address urban challenges. It will remain open from 16 September 2019 until 12 December 2019 at 2pm CET. The budget for this call is approximately EUR 50 million ERDF.Go to 5th Call for Proposals launched

The first Call for Proposals was launched on 15/12/15 and closed on 31/03/16. It was dedicated to four topics: Urban poverty, Integration of migrants and refugees, Jobs and skills in the local economy, and Energy transition, with a total budget of circa EUR 80M. The second Call for Proposals ran from 16/12/16 until 14/04/17. It was dedicated to three topics: Circular economy, Integration of migrants and refugees, and Urban mobility, with a total budget of circa EUR 50M. The third Call for Proposals ran from 15/12/17 until 30/03/18. It was dedicated to four topics: Air quality, Adaptation to Climate change, Housing, and Jobs and skills in the local economy, with a total budget of circa EUR 100M.
