In her 3rd journal of SASMoB, UIA expert Zsuzsanna Kravalik guides us through the last 6 months of the project. She gives the readers a taste of how things have evolved at company level investments, and highlights the driving engine of the partnership into achieving a list of interesting results so far. She is also discussing how the external promotion of sustainable commuting got momentum, in which the public transport company, and some private partners, took the lead organising company level health weekends, festivals and happenings on public transport vehicles. Successful boosting and promotion of Bike to Work campaign also meant that the city had per capita highest levels of cyclists in Hungary!
In this journal, we also find out about SASMoB bottlenecks in regard to project implementation – most importantly the highly anticipated SASMob app will be in the lab for the next period. With just over two thirds of the project lifetime already in the past, Zsuzsanna takes a first dive into what the future holds for the project, and what its long-term sustainability could be
Finally, Zsuzsanna looks into the challenges faced by SASMoB; both the anticipated ones, but most importantly those that that could not have been predicted. Enjoy reading
