Zoom in - Piloting the BRISE building verification system
The UIA-funded project BRISE-Vienna developed an automated building verification system to speed-up the permission process for new buildings in Vienna. In Summer 2022 the BRISE pilot went live.
Together with 13 planners and architects, the City ov Vienna tested the new tool which makes full use of state-of-the-art technologies such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR). This video gives insights into the pilot process, highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the new system and follows the real-world application process to understand how BRISE-Vienna is revolutionizing the building permit procedure.
