Call 5 Strategic Assessment is now finalised!
On Monday 11 May, all Call 5 applicants received a notification regarding the Strategic Assessment (SA) of their proposals. The overall outcome was clear – this appeared to be one of the most competitive calls, especially having in mind the indicative budget of EUR 50 million (less than the previous calls).
Out of the 222 applications submitted in December, 217 were eligible to be assessed. After the SA, 14 projects are now shortlisted for the Operational Assessment (OA), as follows:
- Air quality: 46 admitted to SA, 4 continue to OA;
- Circular economy: 53 admitted, 3 continue;
- Culture and cultural heritage: 101 admitted, 6 continue;
- Demographic change: 17 admitted, 1 continues.
We envisage to select the successful projects by the end of June and they will be able to start their activities as of early July.
Last but not least, we would like to thank all applicants for their proposals and we do encourage them to apply again! Future calls will be published during the next programming period.
