Sporting community event made the duo’s, landlords and social workers connect on an equal basis
The CURANT team learned that young refugees often have a passion for sport. Joining a sports club can be really valuable for their integration. CURANT gave them the opportunity to learn about the offer of sports clubs in Antwerp in an informal way. Beside, landlords and neighbours of the CURANT houses were invited to meet the buddies and refugees. It was nice to see their open mind set to meet the refugees and seeing them play (read: lose) a football game against them.
