MILMA project's it is still ongoing
Last 31st August The MILMA Project finished as UIA project. But, as the Mayor said in the closure event, it is necessary to the continuity of the MILMA methodology with municipal financing and thus be able to continue facilitating access to employment among the residents of the municipality of Fuenlabrada.
MILMA has proven to be an efficient model for professional reconversion and access to the labour market for unemployed people through public-private collaboration.
As we will be public in the systematization document, the project finally obtains 32,5% of labour inclusion in different sectors. We think that this is a great number, and we want to improve it with the next training.
Given the results and the importance of the actions carried out during the period of validity of the MILMA-UIA PROJECT until August 2021, the goal is to continue with the "MILMA Methodology" and to be able to continue developing training actions aimed at professional reconversion and facilitating access to employment.
We are selecting the niches with more expectations of employment to continue the training in 2021 and 2022. The BC Labs selected are Hospital orderly, Gardening assistant, Light Flooring Installation and Catering.
Thus, the kitchen is ready and to promote the use of the “CO-Kitchen space”, to all the former participants identified with the interest of entrepreneurship, facilitating them the space for a year.
