The New deal is ready for launch
This meeting was the kick off the Work Package 5: Urban Energy New Deal led by Paris Batignolles Aménagement (PBA).
Financial partners and the municipality presented the entire project to the associated partners: builders, property operators, investors, energy providers. A work methodology necessary to the fulfillment of the project was also shared with the partners.
The success of this project depends on the active involvement of these associated partners.

This kick off will be followed by workshops to create the New Deal. The first deliverable will be the scenarios for stakeholders’ commitments.
As the Work Packages are linked together (WP 4 and WP 6), PBA, Embix and Une Autre Ville are meeting with each stakeholders to work transversally.
As Melanie Van Waveren, planning director at PBA puts it: “Since the launch of the project CoRDEES, PBA has turned out to be the linchpin between partners and stakeholders. In connexion with all of them, PBA leads to 2 main missions: the establishment of the New Deal Energetic in Clichy-Batignolles and the purchase of the hardware that we intend to set up. The kick-off event of last Friday marked a turning point in the project. Indeed, it appeared to be a great opportunity to remobilize all the stakeholders of the districts and to forge links between the partners. The concertation of the partners and the generation of interest among the stakeholders were crucial in order to make this meeting constructive. Regarding he filling rate of the meeting room and the investment of each participant, I think we can say that a successful first step was accomplished...”
This kickoff meeting defers from the kickoff event that will take place in May 2017 with local authorities, journalists and stakeholders.
